Your role
To support the Director in ensuring the integrity of finances through proper management control and support, timely financial reporting and third party regulations compliance.
What you'll be doing
Maintain robust financial controls and processes at all times, including company provisions and management of exposure / risk process including major incidents and working within prescribed deadlines. Where applicable, responsibility for RV (Residual Values) and SMR (Service Maintenance Repair) calculations.
Provide leadership and management to direct reports to facilitate achievement of business goals and role model positive behaviours and values to the wider team.
Lead the team in ensuring a professional, robust customer service and compliance with statutory requirements and applicable accounting standards (IAS and UK GAAP) where appropriate.
Effectively interface with all internal departments to secure buy-in to and achievement of business objectives.
Pro-actively identify policy and process improvements and liaise with internal and external third parties as required to deliver innovative solutions. Ensure correct implementation of all relevant policies on a company-wide basis.
