Area Sales Manager (ASM) the Role :
We are mandated to hire a dynamic Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead regional sales efforts for a prestigious consulting council. This high-impact role will focus on expanding outreach and driving adoption of advisory programs and consulting services across Gujarat and Maharashtra (with future expansion across the West Zone).

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Program Sales : Promote council programs and services to target institutions, enterprises, and stakeholders in the region.
- Territory Ownership : Build and execute a strategic sales roadmap across Gujarat and Maharashtra, with a focus on high conversion zones.
- Client Engagement : Develop strong relationships with CXOs, business leaders, government stakeholders, and industry associations.
- Travel-Led Outreach : Conduct field visits, presentations, and program activations across cities. Expect an average of over 12-15 days of travel per month expected.
- Reporting & Coordination : Work closely with senior leadership, contribute to growth reviews, and provide regular market feedback.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Coordinate with marketing, programs, and operations teams to ensure end-to-end client success.
What We're Looking For
3 to 7 years of experience in area / regional institutional (B2B) sales, preferably in Pharma, API, Healthcare, or Speciality Chemicals.Exposure to consultative sales, solution-selling, or program-driven offerings is preferred.Strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.Comfortable with extensive travel and independently owning sales targets.Passion for working with senior stakeholders and contributing to large-scale impact.ref : iimjobs.com)
