Director of Satellite Network Operations

Due to growth and expansion we’re excited to be hiring for the role of, Director, Network Operations. The incredible opportunity We’re seeking an experienced leader to unify our Operations teams across internal operations and customer-facing systems, ensuring the seamless operation of Myriota’s world-class IoT networks. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Chief Network Officer and VP of Edge Engineering to execute Myriota’s growth strategy and enable our IoT networks. Drawing on your experience in leading teams and managing networks, you will drive customer satisfaction, ensure SLA compliance, and deliver on Myriota’s service roadmap. How you will drive success : Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to teams to ensure customer service excellence aligned with agreed service standards. Effectively integrate and configure new developments and features into the networks while minimizing service disruptions and ensuring backward compatibility. Harmonize systems across multiple network standards and architectures where possible. Participate in commercial roaming agreements with third-party network providers. Act as a custodian for Myriota’s cybersecurity, ICT, and network quality assurance. Manage the financial health of the networks, including opex, downtime, billing, and future capacity planning. Lead, engage, and retain a high-performing team. What we value in you : Previous experience operating a telecommunications, IoT, NewSpace satellite, or terrestrial network (DevOps, cloud, big data). Hands-on involvement in scaling and growing a network, with exposure to large-scale operations and associated risks. Engineering degree or equivalent experience in network operations with cloud technologies. Experience operating and scaling IoT, enterprise communications, or wireless / satellite networks, with exposure to a major telecom network and its growth challenges. A curious and driven leader with a strong ability to understand and influence business, ICT, and cybersecurity strategies to seize opportunities and mitigate risks. Proven experience in building and retaining high-performing teams while working cross-functionally across different time zones. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities. Ability to manage budgets and confidently engage in financial discussions.
