Senior Technical Specialist

Skills required

The role will be a lead on our Infrastructure team, who will manage and support our VMWare NSX-T and AVI load balancers and maintain our vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi components. This individual will be responsible for the lifecycle management of these products as well as ongoing monitoring and support. Additionally, this resource will assist in defining our roadmap for VMWare and leverage best practices to ensure operational excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the effort to ensure all technology dependencies are compatible with our move towards vSphere 8
• Responsible for supporting vSphere and its components; proactively identifying issues and resolving them as they arise
• Supporting, upgrading, and maintaining the NSX-T environment
• Proactively assist in projects requiring network impacting changes leveraging Aria Operations for Networks
• Finalize our migration from NSX-T load balancers to AVI load balancers
• Assist other teams with AVI load balancer deployments or migrations and troubleshooting support as needed
• Help to define and deploy microsegments based on requirements from Cybersecurity
