Job description8+ years in engineering, including 23 years at Director / Sr. EM level Proven leadership in fast-paced B2B SaaS or product startups Strong grasp of modern cloud infra (AWS : EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway) Working knowledge of React + visual frontend UX Comfort with backend stacks : FastAPI, Python, Java / Spring, API design Exposure to AI / ML or MLOps pipelines (e.g. model deployment with Docker / FastAPI) Hands-on experience with CI / CD, Docker, monitoring tools High product IQ : You spot broken flows and weak UX before QA does Excellent written communication you write specs, not just read them Experience with media-heavy workflows (images, video, creative tools) Past work with multi-tenant SaaS systems Exposure to cost optimization on AWS Familiarity with our stacks : React, FastAPI, Spring, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL Prior experience in <40 person product teams
What Youll Do :
- Own delivery across two products : one startup-fast, one enterprise-scale
- Clarify product specs and turn fuzzy ideas into implementation-ready plans
- Unblock engineers, challenge weak assumptions, and pre-empt delays
- Enforce velocity and accountability across multiple teams
- Bridge product <> engineering <> design seamlessly
- Balance shipping now vs. platform thinking for future-proofing
- Step in on architecture reviews when needed (React, AWS, FastAPI, Docker)
- Spot skill gaps, mentor ICs, and build a culture of ownership
- Operate fully in modern tools : Notion, GitHub, Teams, Google Docs, YouTrack, ChatGPT
