Service Now Senior Developer( Min, 5 years ServiceNow development relevent experience)
Responsibilities :
- Development & Configuration : Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications and modules, including custom workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
- Custom Integrations : Lead integration efforts with third-party systems, APIs, and external data sources to ensure seamless data flow.
- Performance Optimization : Analyze and optimize the performance of ServiceNow instances, ensuring scalability, speed, and reliability.
- Security and Compliance : Ensure that the solutions developed comply with organizational security policies and governance standards.
- Testing and Troubleshooting : Perform unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow applications, workflows, configurations, and integrations.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other technical teams, to gather and analyze requirements.
- Mentorship : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices are followed and knowledge is shared within the team.
- Upgrade & Patching : Manage and assist in the upgrade of ServiceNow instances and ensure the smooth transition to new releases and patches.
- ServiceNow Best Practices : Advocate and enforce ServiceNow development best practices and guidelines.
Requirements :
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow developer or in a similar role.ServiceNow Certifications : ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, or other relevant certifications are highly preferred.Technical Skills :Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Catalog.Proficient in ServiceNow scripting languages : JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, UI Scripts, and Client Scripts.Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server).Familiarity with ServiceNow orchestration, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.Understanding of ServiceNow data model and table structure.Tools : Experience with version control tools such as Git, and familiarity with development lifecycle tools such as Jenkins, Jira, or similar.Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex technical issues efficiently.Soft Skills : Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive. Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
