Job Summary :
The company is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead its sales operations from Thane. The ideal candidate must have strong domain knowledge of electrical switches, switchgear, or wiring accessories, along with a proven track record in managing dealers, distributors, and project based sales. This is a leadership role for someone who can drive growth, manage a sales team, and expand market presence in the electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute sales strategies to meet business targets and expand market share in the electrical switches category.
- Lead and manage the sales team, channel partners, and regional sales operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key dealers, distributors, electrical contractors, and project consultants.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies within the electrical segment.
- Coordinate with production and logistics to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Drive new channel development in untapped geographies.
- Analyze sales performance, prepare monthly / quarterly reports, and present to senior management.
- Conduct training and performance evaluations of the sales team.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.7–10 years of sales experience in the electrical switchgear, switches, or wiring devices industry.Strong dealer / distributor network and project sales exposure.Proven team leadership and territory management experience.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting systems.Based in or willing to relocate to Thane.
