Role Overview
We are looking for an ECM Associate to join our Investment Banking team, primarily focusing on the execution of equity capital market transactions such as IPOs, FPOs, QIPs, rights issues, and open offers. The role involves working closely with clients, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end execution of ECM transactions (IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, Open Offers, etc.).Preparation and review of financial models and investor presentation materials.Support drafting and review of DRHPs and other regulatory documents.Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, legal advisors, and merchant banking teams.Assist with investor outreach, roadshows, and capital-raising strategies.Conduct sector-specific research and provide market intelligence for deal origination.Key Skills & Requirements
Strong understanding of SEBI regulations and ECM processes.Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Detail-oriented with strong project management abilities.Hands-on experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial tools (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.).Qualification
CA / MBA (Finance) / CFACS or Law background will be an added advantage, especially for candidates with exposure to regulatory documentation and compliance in capital markets.
