Job Summary :
The Division Incharge will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of a designated division within the utility domain (electricity, water, gas, etc.). This role ensures the efficient and compliant delivery of utility services, manages a team of field and office personnel, ensures customer satisfaction, and drives operational excellence aligned with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Management :
Oversee daily operations and service delivery in the assigned division.
Ensure uninterrupted and efficient utility services to customers.
Monitor performance metrics (e.g., uptime, response time, service quality).
Coordinate maintenance schedules, outages, and emergency response plans.
Team Leadership :
Supervise and guide field staff, technicians, and support teams.
Assign tasks, review performance, and ensure training and compliance.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Customer Service & Relationship Management :
Address escalated customer complaints and service issues.
Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and community representatives.
Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting :
Ensure compliance with government and environmental regulations.
Prepare and submit regular operational and incident reports.
Coordinate audits and implement corrective actions.
Budget & Resource Management :
Manage the division’s budget, expenditures, and resource allocation.
Oversee procurement and inventory of necessary materials and equipment.
Project Coordination :
Assist in planning and execution of infrastructure development projects.
Coordinate with engineering teams and contractors.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Civil / Mechanical) or related field.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in utility operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Knowledge of utility service regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and utility management software (e.g., SCADA, GIS, ERP).
