Java Site Reliability Engineer

Job Title : Java Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Experience : 3 to 5 Years

Location : Bangalore

Key Responsibilities :

• Handle Incident Management (P1P4) and Change Management processes using ServiceNow.
• Maintain adherence to SLA and support processes aligned with SRE best practices.
• Troubleshoot and analyze Java exceptions (e.g., NullPointerException, ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException) and performance issues.
• Perform log analysis, alert creation, and dashboard monitoring using Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Understand and manage Garbage Collection (GC) and JVM performance tuning.
• Identify and resolve issues related to Deadlocks and Livelocks; explain and differentiate between the two.
• Perform JVM recycling and environment-level restarts when required.
• Utilize Unix commands for log inspection, process management, and scripting.
• Execute SQL queries for application troubleshooting and monitoring.
