Mainframe Developer - COBOL / JCL

Job Title : Mainframe Developer IMS DB, COBOL, : Required : Minimum 5 years.

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in IMS DB, COBOL, and JCL to join our technology team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe-based applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL, IMS DB, and JCL on IBM Mainframe systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient mainframe solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to identify issues and propose optimal solutions.
• Perform impact analysis and provide estimations for enhancements and defect fixes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to batch and online IMS applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in coding and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with development standards and change management processes.
• Support production systems and assist in performance tuning and debugging.
