Structural Design Engineer-FPSO

Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Candidate shall be Civil Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate, having 4 to 12 years’ experience in EPCC / EPCM Company, with minimum 2 to 6 years relevant experience in offshore industry with independently performing structural design of FPSO Topside Modules.
• Candidate must hold sound knowledge of SACS, STAAD Pro and Navis Works software.
• Must familiar with design specifications and Codes AISC, API RP2A, Conceptual study, FEED & other studies.
• Must be familiar with detailed study of loads and loading combinations used for offshore design.
• Must familiar with different type of analysis for Topside module’s (In-Place, Hydro Test, Lift Analysis, Barge Transportation, Load-Out Analysis, Spectrum analysis, Dynamic analysis.
• Able to perform FEM analysis for typical joint connections.
• Familiar with knowledge of strength, buckling, fatigue and dynamic behaviour of structures.
• Technical reviews of Engineering drawings prepared for the scope modules
• Preparation of Module wise breakdown MTO.
• Preparation of Weight Control Report (WCR)
• Familiarity with following will be considered as additional advantage : -Familiar with class authority requirements such as ABS, DNV etc.-3D environment working with software such as E3D, BOCAD, SP3D, TEKLA.
