About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Software Development Engineer – DevOps to join our engineering team. This role is critical to the success of our cloud infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in DevOps best practices, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native technologies , with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , Python scripting , and Kubernetes orchestration .

As a senior DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to streamline deployments, improve system observability, and drive automation across the CI / CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Helm to provision and maintain cloud environments on GCP .
• Build and optimize CI / CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.
• Develop custom Python scripts for automation, integration, monitoring, and toolchain enhancement.
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters for high-availability applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to architect and implement solutions that improve developer productivity and system resilience.
• Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes to recurring issues.
• Implement and manage observability tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, Datadog).
• Champion DevOps and SRE principles across the organization and mentor junior team members in DevOps practices.
• Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and governance standards , implementing guardrails and automation where appropriate.
