Software Development Engineer – Embedded Android :

Job Title : Software Development Engineer – Embedded Android

Location : Bengaluru, India

Experience Required : 4-6 years

Education : 15 years of full-time education required

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer with expertise in Embedded Android App Development to join our growing team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and maintaining application components across multiple projects. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and contributing as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded Android applications.
Actively contribute to team discussions and propose innovative solutions to technical problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Debug and troubleshoot application issues to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with the documentation of software specifications and user manuals.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in Android development.

Must-Have Skills :

Proven experience in Embedded Android App Development .

Proficiency in the Android SDK and Android Studio.

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.

Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.

Nice to Have :

Exposure to hardware-software integration.

Experience in performance tuning and memory optimization in Android.

Familiarity with CI / CD tools and practices.

Additional Information :

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru .

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Only candidates with a full-time 15 years of education (10+2+3) will be considered.
