• Pattern Development :
• Develop patterns, prints, and colorways that are both unique and commercially viable, considering market demand and production capabilities.
• Material Selection :
• Collaborate with the procurement team to source and select the best materials for textile production, while adhering to cost constraints.
• Quality Control :
• Oversee the quality of textile samples and finished products to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship.
• Market Research :
• Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to make informed design decisions.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including fashion designers, production, and marketing, to ensure the successful execution of design concepts.
• Budget Management :
• Manage design projects within the specified budget range and optimize resource utilization.
• Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in textile design, preferably in the fashion industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of textiles, materials, and production processes.
