Job description

Role : Test Automation Engineer

Location : Hyderabad

Duration : Full time permanent

Job Scope :

Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
Develop automation tools using Java.
Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks and libraries to improve testing efficiency.
Utilize tools like Selenium, Appium 2, TestNG, and JUnit for automated testing.
Integrate test automation into CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product owners to identify areas for automation.
Participate in grooming, sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Defect Analysis and Reporting
Mentorship and Leadership
Documentation
Manual testing.

Skills Required :

Minimum 10 years of quality assurance testing experience to work with other team members on planning, implementation, execution, and automation.

Monitoring of product test cases with knowledge of test case management tools, such as Jira-Xray.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Good No-SQL skills and familiarity with Mongo DB.

8+ years of experience in creating test plans and test cases from written specifications or verbal communications.

8+ years of experience in QA automation using Selenium, Java, Appium.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Experience with integrating automation scripts with GitLab.
