GRC Analyst - IT Risk Management

Job descriptionAssist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Support the development and dissemination of compliance-related communications and training materials. Assist in conducting compliance audits and assessments. Track and follow up on compliance-related action items and remediation efforts. Assist in the development and maintenance of corporate governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Support the preparation of materials for governance-related meetings (e.g., board meetings, committee meetings). Assist in the tracking and implementation of governance-related decisions and action items. Utilize and maintain GRC tools and platforms for risk assessment, compliance tracking, and audit management. Assist in the configuration and customization of GRC tools. Generate reports and dashboards from GRC tools. Maintain accurate and organized GRC-related documentation, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and compliance records. Assist in the preparation of GRC-related reports for management and other Collaboration : Collaborate with various departments and business units to gather information, provide guidance, and promote a culture of risk awareness and compliance. Support internal and external audits and reviews. Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices in GRC. Identify opportunities for improving GRC processes and Skills : Master's / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Information Technology, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) roles. Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOX, sector-specific regulations). Experience with GRC frameworks and best practices. Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to handle confidential information with Skills : Experience with specific GRC tools and platforms (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream). Knowledge of audit methodologies and practices. Certifications in risk management, compliance, or audit (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CCEP). Experience in a specific industry relevant to our organization. Basic understanding of data privacy and security principles

- Assist in the identification, assessment, and analysis of potential risks (operational, financial, strategic, compliance, etc.) across the organization.
- Support the development and maintenance of risk registers and risk treatment plans.
- Follow up on risk mitigation activities and track their effectiveness.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
