Our platform enables businesses to conquer the complexities of work-from-anywhere setups, rapid digital transformation, and the proliferation of SaaS applications by simplifying, optimizing, and securing their IT operations.

The Role

As an Engineering Leader, you will play a key role in driving innovation, improving product architecture, efficiently and cost-effectively, and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced startup environment. You will be responsible for :

  • Lead end-to-end software engineering for Josys product development, focusing on achieving product-market fit in global markets.
  • Drive the delivery of product features, ensuring product quality, predictability, evolution, and agility.
  • Implement and oversee contemporary engineering practices and processes, including Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), DevSecOps, and QA Automation.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, promoting best practices in software development.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to align engineering efforts with business goals and customer needs.
  • Manage, mentor, and scale the engineering team to support growth and development.

Ideal Profile

  • You possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a top-tier institute, reflecting a solid educational foundation and technical expertise.
  • You have at least 14 years of experience in the product software industry, with at least 3 years at director level or above in the SaaS domain with a strong track record in startups or scale-ups.
  • You have a deep understanding of distributed architectures, microservices, and cloud-native systems , with experience in handling large-scale, high-traffic applications.
  • Solid proficiency in the MERN stack, with extensive hands-on expertise in  Node.js , as well as deep experience working with  TypeScript  and  JavaScript , specifically in building and scaling complex SaaS or software products, would be preferred.
  • You have proven knowledge of  DevOps and CI / CD practices , with the ability to train and empower teams to adopt these methodologies effectively.
  • You possess deep expertise in modern engineering practices, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies.
  • You are a problem-solver, with excellent strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • You are a hands-on leader who leverages your technical expertise to solve complex challenges, drive excellence, and actively train, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams.
