About the role

We currently have an opportunity for a Supply Planner to join the team. The role will provide leave coverage for national Supply Planner and Master Production Scheduler roles throughout Milk, Dairy and Juice portfolios; using experience and collaboration to drive standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain. You enable our Supply Planners to enjoy a well-earned break, by stepping into their role when they go on annual leave. Whilst acting as the Supply Planner, you will be responsible for establishing constructive partnerships to deliver the production plans that meet our inventory targets and our customer service promise. There maybe considerable travel with this role due to the different site support required.

In between leave coverage, you will drive continuous improvement. You will work with the broader Supply Team in laying the foundation towards World Class Planning. This is a role that really makes a difference to the broader planning team, both in the day-to-day wellbeing & enabling the team to work our toolsets harder and improve our planning processes.

The role can be based any Bega site location.

Other responsibilities

Manage the detailed production schedule at the SKU level over the 0-2 week horizon and the mid-term production schedule over the 2-13 week horizon (including planned outages, maintenance and other capital works)

Delivery of a detailed finished goods schedule to Operations and a detailed milk ingredients plan to Operations & Procurement and management of any associated issues

Daily reporting and root cause analysis of issues (DIF & Dated) as well as management of finished goods stock levels at production site and Regional DCs.

Participate in Detailed Event Planning with the Site and key stakeholders

Facilitation of the Weekly Supply Review at site each week and participation in site and planning meetings

About you

Ideally a Supply Planning or Integrated Business Planning background with strong analytical skills

Able to work in a fast-paced complex environment

Effective communicator and able to build positive relationships with stakeholders

High learning agility & courageous mindset

Self-starter, ability to work autonomously with a positive energy and proactive mindset
