Chief Engineer

• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all engineering systems HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical.
• Lead schedule and support the engineering team ensuring effective coverage and high standards of work.
• Manage and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests or emergencies minimising disruption to operations and guests.
• Collaborate with department heads to support operational needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental standards as well as legal and brand requirements.
• Manage contractors service providers and external inspections ensuring quality and timely work.
• Monitor and optimise energy use utilities and maintenance budgets.
• Keep detailed maintenance records and assist with capital planning and project implementation.
• Train your team on safety emergency procedures and best practices.
