About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Channel Manager to lead and expand our secured loan sales through dealer and channel networks.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of SME, MSME, Micro-LAP, LAP, Mortgages, and Retail Lending products along with strong market insights and the ability to manage and motivate channel partners.
This role demands a results-driven leader with excellent interpersonal skills to drive business growth and ensure robust dealer engagement in diverse local markets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, onboard, and manage a strong network of dealers, brokers, and channel partners focused on secured loan products.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with channel partners to maximize sales opportunities.
- Regularly evaluate channel performance and implement strategies to optimize productivity and penetration.
- Drive lead generation and conversion through effective channel strategies.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for secured loan products, including SME / MSME loans, Micro-LAP, LAP, Mortgages, and Retail Lending.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute campaigns that enhance channel visibility and lead flow.
- Lead, train, and motivate a field sales team and channel sales force to achieve business goals.
- Monitor field execution, provide on-ground support, and ensure adherence to compliance and quality standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions to improve team effectiveness.
- Analyze local market dynamics and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Provide feedback and insights to product and strategy teams to tailor offerings according to market needs.
- Maintain accurate records of channel activities, sales reports, and pipeline updates.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical sales practices.
Key Skills & Requirements :
Proven experience in secured loan sales, specifically within SME / MSME, Micro-LAP, LAP, Mortgages, or Retail Lending.Demonstrated expertise in managing dealer / channel networks and driving business through indirect sales channels.Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating sales teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to generate and convert leads effectively through channel partners.Strong analytical mindset to understand market trends and customer needs.Hands-on field execution capabilities with a customer-centric approach.Preference for candidates who are immediate joiners or available on short notice.Stable work history with a track record of consistent performanceref : iimjobs.com)
