We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer with 5–12 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting ITOM modules including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of ITOM solutions that enhance operational efficiency, provide visibility into infrastructure, and support enterprise ITSM and ITOM strategies.

Key Responsibilities :
Develop and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules, including :
- CMDB -mandatory
- Discovery
- Service Mapping
- Event Management
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with external systems and data sources.
- Customize and enhance ServiceNow applications using workflows, business rules, client scripts, and other tools.
- Implement and maintain MID Servers and credentials for successful discovery.
- Maintain and optimize CMDB health and data accuracy using identification and reconciliation rules.
- Work with infrastructure and application teams to identify critical CI relationships and map services.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to ITOM integrations and modules.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow architects, administrators, and business stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs.
- Document technical solutions, implementation processes, and support procedures.
Required Qualifications :
Atleast 3 years of experience in ITOM.4–12 years of professional experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on ITOM.Strong hands-on experience with :
CMDB design, health, and maintenanceDiscovery and Service MappingEvent Management (including Event Rules, Alert Management)Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.).Experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting techniques.Familiarity with MID Server setup and troubleshooting.Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Dynatrace, etc.).ServiceNow certifications such as :
Certified System Administrator (CSA)Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM (preferred)Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of ITIL practices and processes.Experience with other ServiceNow modules like ITSM or SecOps.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.Education :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
