Financial Reporting

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting (US GAAP & IGAAP) :

Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IGAAP including

P&L Balance Sheet Schedules and Disclosures.

Perform adjustments regroupings and reconciliations (e.g. IGAAP to US GAAP

premium income knock-off).

Maintain financial checklists perform GAAP analyses and draft technical papers.

Support vendor assessments related to sub-ledgers and other reporting tools.

Maintain data catalogs required for disclosures and reporting systems.

IFRS 17 / Ind AS 117 Implementation :

Assist in the transition to IFRS 17 / Ind AS 117 ensuring accurate reporting and

control frameworks.

Subsidiary & Consolidated Accounting :

Manage and review subsidiary company accounts ensuring accuracy and

completeness.

Coordinate with auditors and close Board-related reporting within deadlines.

Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and notes.

Regulatory Reporting :

Ensure timely and accurate submission of IRDAI reports on a monthly quarterly

half-yearly and annual basis.

Assist in preparing notes to accounts for standalone and consolidated financials in

compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.

Parent / Promoter Company Reporting :

Support preparation of financial reports required by the parent / promoter company

including Ind AS FFC US GAAP and schedule-based reporting packages.

Audit Management & Compliance :

Coordinate with internal and external auditors to close IGAAP and US GAAP

requirements.

Support SOX compliance and implement internal controls as needed.

Cash Flow & Year-End Reporting :

Prepare standalone and consolidated cash flow statements in line with AS 3.

Contribute to quarterly and year-end closing activities and assist in preparing the

Annual Report including related party disclosures.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP IGAAP Ind AS) and IRDAI

regulations

Experience in financial reporting audit coordination and regulatory submissions

Excellent analytical and presentation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems

Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
