Technical Writer - Software Documentation

About the Role :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to join our software product development team. You will play a pivotal role in producing clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation to support our products and services. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams, with a strong grasp of modern documentation tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create comprehensive and user-centric documentation including user manuals, developer guides, technical specifications, API documentation, and process workflows.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and subject-matter experts to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Develop, structure, and maintain a scalable content architecture aligned with organizational and legal standards.
• Produce high-quality content for different user personas including developers, system integrators, QA teams, and end-users.
• Maintain consistency in style, voice, and branding across various documentation types including online help, whitepapers, brochures, and demo scripts.
• Author content in multiple formats including Markdown, HTML, and modern documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, Git-based tools, or DITA CMS).
• Assist in the development of training materials, tutorials, how-to guides, and onboarding content for internal and external users.
• Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date with the product lifecycle using SDLC and DDLC best practices.
• Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
