Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Head Chef to lead the pastry and bakery operations of a busy coffee shop in Oman. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bakery and pastry arts and be capable of managing kitchen staff and maintaining high standards in production and presentation.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee daily pastry and bakery production for the coffee shop.

Develop and innovate new menu items desserts and baked goods.

Supervise and train junior pastry staff to ensure quality and consistency.

Ensure hygiene health and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen.

Manage inventory ordering and cost control for pastry ingredients.

Coordinate with management on menu planning and promotional offerings.

Qualifications & Experience :

Minimum 3 years of experience in pastry or bakery roles preferably in a coffee shop or similar environment.

Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.

Strong knowledge of pastry techniques ingredients and presentation.

Leadership and organizational skills are essential.

Employment Terms :

Salary : OMR 450 per month

Working Hours : 8 hours per day 6 days a week

Overtime : As per company policy

Contract Period : 2 years renewable

Accommodation : Provided by employer

Transport : Provided by employer

Medical Insurance : Provided by employer

Food : Managed by candidate

Nationality : Open to all except Hindu candidates (as per employer preference)

Eligible Nationalities : Indian Any
