Centific - Mobile Application Tester - Automation Testing

Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough manual testing of mobile applications across various devices and operating system versions (Device Testing).
• Build and maintain test environments, including configurations like AD domain / NDES.
• Utilize your proficiency in PowerShell and familiarity with SQL, .NET, and KQL for effective testing and data analysis.
• Gain and leverage experience with the Appium tool for mobile test automation (exposure to Selenium is a plus).
• Accurately describe encountered problems with detailed steps and context, and write / design comprehensive test cases.
• Apply your strong problem-solving abilities and passion for debugging complex issues to identify root causes.
• Take ownership of writing and maintaining detailed test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams to report and track defects through to resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our mobile testing processes and Skills :
• Experience : 3 to 8+ years of experience in Web or Mobile testing.
• Device Testing : Proven experience in testing mobile applications on various devices.
• Test Environment Setup : Proficient in building test environments (e.g., AD domain / NDES).
• Scripting / Querying : Experience with PowerShell or familiarity with SQL, .NET, and KQL.
• Automation (Exposure) : Experience with the Appium tool and exposure to Automation principles (Selenium).
• Problem Solving : Strong problem-solving ability with a passion for debugging.
• Test Documentation : Proficiency in writing and maintaining test plans and test cases.
• Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science engineering or a related Skills :
• Hands-on experience in developing and executing automated mobile tests using Appium.
• Experience with other mobile testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and their integration with mobile testing.
• Performance testing experience for mobile applications.
• Security testing knowledge for mobile applications.
