The Company
A reputable organisation providing residential care services across VIC, TAS and NSW.
Their care model promotes independence and choice, aiming to create a homely environment. This role is nestled in a rural city north of Victoria.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations and improvements of this medium sized facility. You will have a dedicated clinical management team that you oversee as part of this residential home.
Ideally, you will be a well-seasoned Residential Manager with recent experience in a similar position and be a resilient, hands-on leader across this residential site. Your primary purpose will be to lead the operations of the home and improve quality care outcomes of this facility while building and maintaining a positive, collaborative culture and environment across the site including being instrumental in the implementation of a range of workforce initiatives to develop and support staff.
Duties
- Daily operational management of the facility
- Maintain occupancy and budget requirements
- Ensure the services are meeting targets per funding and promptly identifying risks
- Building key stakeholder partnerships in the community
- Provide leadership & direction to staff members for high quality client service delivery
- Ensure resident lifestyle & care needs are met
- Ensure quality & accreditation guidelines are met
- Actively promote a culture of excellence
Skills and Experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- Working experience across Residential Aged Care
- Recent experience in a Residential Manager or in a similar position
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Aged Care Funding Systems and Accreditation Standards
- Experience managing staff and providing support to teams as well as skillsets across HR, Finance and Risk and Compliance
- Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong customer and stakeholder management skills
