Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and support Sybase to SQL migration testing efforts, proactively identifying potential risks, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks during the transition phase.
• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for complex data migration scenarios.
• Perform thorough database validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency before, during, and after migration.
• Write and execute SQL queries proficiently to analyze data, verify migration results, and identify issues.
• Collaborate closely with development, database administration, and business teams to understand migration requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects using established QA tools such as JIRA or TestRail, managing them through their lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies, especially in the context of data migrations.
• Provide clear and concise status updates, test reports, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.
