Key Responsibilities :
- ITIL Process Implementation : Implement and manage the IT Service Management lifecycle, including the Request, Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes and procedures.
- Service Assurance : Ensure that all IT services meet the levels of availability required by the business and are delivered in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Incident Management : Manage major incidents to minimize downtime and negative impact on business operations.
- Change Management : Oversee the Change Management process to ensure minimal disruption to IT services.
- Vendor Management : Manage relationships and liaise with vendors for sales, service, and support of all IT systems and tools.
- Serve as the primary contact for software, hardware, and network-related vendors.
- Cloud Strategy : Define and implement the company's cloud strategy in support of professional services requirements and in support of new product and services offerings.
- Staff Development : Recruit and develop IT staff in alignment with IT objectives and corporate Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or a technology-related discipline.
- Master's degree considered an asset.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in the Information Technology field, including new product development, implementation, and at least 5 years of progressively responsible IT management experience, inclusive of senior-level technology-related strategic planning, budgeting, and execution.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including VMware virtualization, IaaS, Cloud backup, Disaster Recovery, and Unified Communications.
- Expertise in implementing and managing software solutions in the areas of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), E-Commerce solutions, and Middleware.
- Systems design and development process including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, pilot testing, installation, evaluation, and IT operational management.
Education and Certifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.ITIL Foundation Certification is expected, and higher level ITIL certifications can be beneficial.Project Management Professional (PMP) would be advantageous.At least 5 years of experience in IT Service Management.Proven experience in managing a team.Proven experience in instilling the ITIL Processes.Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) would be preferred.Location : (ref : iimjobs.com)
