Job Summary :
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Schematic and PCB Design Engineer with hands-on experience in electronic hardware design.
- The ideal candidate must be proficient in KiCAD, have solid experience in RF circuit design (especially antenna tuning), and a strong background in SMPS (Switched-Mode Power Supply) design.
- Should be confident in using test and measurement tools like CROs and multimeters and capable of creating evaluation / demo boards using WEG0 modules or similar platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop schematics and multi-layer PCBs using KiCAD.Perform RF layout design and antenna tuning for wireless applications.Design and validate SMPS circuits (buck, boost, and flyback topologies).Develop evaluation and demo boards using WEGO modules or equivalent.Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration.Perform design reviews, DFM / DFT analysis, and BOM optimization.Conduct hardware testing and validation using tools such as CROs, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.Maintain design documentation, including schematics, layout files, test procedures, and validation reports.Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues in prototypes and production units.Required Qualifications :
Professional experience in schematic capture and PCB layout.Expert-level proficiency in KiCAD.Hands-on experience with RF circuit design and antenna tuning.Sound knowledge of SMPS topologies and practical implementation.Familiarity with test equipment such as CROs (oscilloscopes), multimeters, and other lab tools.Experience in building and testing evaluation / demo boards, preferably with WEGO platforms.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with EMC / EMI compliance and mitigation techniques.Basic knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded systems.Familiarity with industry standards for PCB layout and signal integrity.ref : hirist.tech)
