Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Business Strategy & Operations Manager to support the Director in driving strategic initiatives, financial planning, and operational excellence. The role will focus on ensuring the company’s growth objectives are met through robust business strategies, market analysis, financial modeling, operational execution, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities :
Business & Financial Strategy :
Assist in long-term strategic planning, market analysis, and financial modeling to support business growth.
Collaborate with finance teams to analyze Profit & Loss (P&L), revenue streams, cost structures, and capital allocation to optimize financial performance.
Operational Execution & Program Management :
Drive execution of high-priority initiatives set by the Director, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
Oversee and manage company-wide strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery, operational efficiency, and impactful results.
OKRs, KPIs & Performance Monitoring :
Define, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) to measure and guide business success.
Identify bottlenecks in operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Investor Relations & Board Engagement :
Prepare and present board meeting materials, investor presentations, earnings reports, and other critical updates.
Support the Director in fundraising activities, investor communications, and financial disclosures.
Leadership Alignment & Organizational Effectiveness :
Ensure seamless coordination and alignment between executive leadership, Heads of Departments (HODs), and key business units to drive organizational effectiveness and business success.
Crisis Management & Problem-Solving :
Lead crisis response planning, risk management, and provide strategic interventions to address urgent business challenges.
Quickly assess critical issues and develop execution plans to mitigate risks and resolve problems.
Special Projects & Confidential Initiatives :
Manage highly sensitive and confidential projects on behalf of the Director, ensuring all initiatives align with corporate goals.
Execute ad-hoc strategic projects that directly contribute to the company's long-term vision.
Key Deliverables :
Meet predefined regional sales targets (monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
Explore and implement potential avenues to increase market share.
Ensure effective engagement, development, and retention of the Field Sales Force.
Generate repeat business and establish a referral chain of customers to drive sustainable growth.
Qualifications : Education :
MBA from a Tier 1 institute (IIMs, ISB, Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, INSEAD, etc.) & Engineering degree from IITs, BITS, NITs, or other premier institutions in India.
Experience :
0-2 years of experience in strategy, operations, finance, or executive roles.
Skills & Competencies :
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Excellent communication skills and experience in preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated problem-solving and crisis management abilities.
Strong understanding of business performance metrics, KPIs, and OKRs.
