Company Description

The Startup India Initiative is dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among college students across India. Our mission is to guide student founders through every stage of the startup journey—from idea validation to product launch—using cutting-edge tools and expert mentorship. We provide hands-on workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and opportunities to pitch to investors. We support building Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to turn ambition into action and help lead the change in India’s startup ecosystem.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Team Lead. The Business Development Team Lead will be responsible for generating leads, managing and leading a team, and providing analytical insights to drive business growth. Daily tasks include identifying potential business opportunities, setting targets for the team, and ensuring effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders. The role also involves devising strategies to meet business objectives and contributing to the overall mission of the Startup India Initiative.

  • Lead Generation and Analytical Skills
  • Team Management and Team Leadership skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proven track record in business development or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field
  • Experience in the startup ecosystem is a plus
