Senior Manager - US Accounting

Sikich is seeking a Senior Manager with 12 to 15 years of accounting or audit experience. The ideal candidate must have experience in US GAAP general accounting, financial statement preparation or review / audit, and team management experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve department and organizational goals.

• Address and resolve complex issues, providing solutions that align with business goals.
• Oversee resource allocation, project management and process improvements.
• Display excellent leadership skills and manage internal / external expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, month end close and year end close processes, ensuring all financials are completed accurately on time.
• Manage multiple project deliverables and client engagements.
• Oversee and ensure quality standards of accounting transactions by the team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Manage team performance metrics and responsible for team performance.
• Collaborate with US Leaders, providing consistent people and client updates.
• Work towards continual talent development through trainings and coaching.
• Conduct and review financials for fair representation of client financial statements.
