Poonawalla Fincorp - Zonal Collection Manager

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement zonal collection strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recovery trends.

Team Leadership :

• Supervise and guide a team of Area / Regional Collection Managers and third-party collection agencies.
• Conduct regular training and performance reviews for the collections team.

Operational Management :

• Ensure timely recovery of overdue accounts in the Consumer Durable Loans portfolio.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly collections data and MIS reports.
• Coordinate with credit, legal, and sales departments for recovery efforts.

Compliance & Risk Management :

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory norms and internal policies.
• Handle escalated customer issues or legal cases related to collections.

Agency / Vendor Management : .

• Appoint, evaluate, and manage collection agencies / vendors.
• Conduct audits and compliance checks on field collections activities.

Customer Handling :

• Address serious delinquency cases with customer-centric approaches, while protecting company interests.
• Promote ethical and non-coercive recovery practices.
