Database Administrator - MariaDB

Key Responsibilities :

• Good understanding of Maria DB, related utilities, and tools.
• Understanding of the underlying operating system : Linux and Windows.
• Knowledge of physical database design.
• Ability to perform both Maria DB and operating system performance tuning and monitoring.
• Knowledge of Maria DB backup and recovery scenarios.
• Good knowledge of Maria DB security management.
• Understanding how Maria DB acquires and manages resources.
• Knowledge of Maria DB data integrity.
• Experience with application systems using Maria DB and Oracle DB.
• Experience in code migration, database change management, and data management throughout the development life cycle.
• Strong communication skills with management, development teams, vendors, and systems administrators.
• Provide strategic database direction for the organization.
• Handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Possess a sound understanding of the business.
• High-level knowledge of ServiceNow application.

Preferred Certification : Maria DB certified professional

Good to have : Oracle DB certification
