Senior Façade Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Façade Design Engineer to join our dynamic design team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative façade design solutions across a range of high-end commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop detailed façade design drawings and 3D models (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, etc.)

Prepare structural calculations and coordinate thermal / waterproofing design aspects

Collaborate with architects, consultants, and project managers to deliver design intent

Conduct technical feasibility studies and material assessments

Support design development from concept to installation stage

Review fabrication and shop drawings submitted by vendors

Ensure compliance with local building codes and international standards

Visit project sites for technical coordination and inspections when required

Requirements

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

3–5 years of façade design experience in curtain walls, glazing, cladding systems, etc.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Rhino, Revit, or SolidWorks is a plus

Sound knowledge of façade systems, materials, fabrication, and installation methods

Understanding of structural and thermal behavior of building envelope systems

Good communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. 2–3 years of experience in architectural design, especially in residential projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Fluent in English and Kannada (mandatory). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
