Our client, a leading player in the iGaming and Sports Betting industry, is seeking a Head of Acquisition and Marketing to lead their marketing and customer acquisition efforts across African markets.
This senior leadership role is ideal for a strategic marketer with extensive experience in iGaming or related sectors. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing a results-driven marketing strategy focused on customer acquisition, brand visibility, and regional market adaptation—particularly across Africa.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Marketing Leadership : Develop and implement a data-driven marketing plan tailored to African markets; monitor trends and competitor behavior to drive growth and innovation.
- Customer Acquisition : Lead cross-channel campaigns (SEO, PPC, Google & Meta Ads, social media, and offline) and optimize user acquisition funnels.
- Team Leadership : Manage multiple departments, including SEO, online / offline marketing, and social media; set KPIs and performance benchmarks.
- Budget & Performance Oversight : Oversee marketing budgets and ROI-focused plans, with regular performance tracking and reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (Product, Customer Service, Compliance) to ensure a cohesive customer journey.
- Brand & Compliance : Uphold brand identity and regulatory compliance, while championing responsible gaming practices.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA a plus).8–10 years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in senior roles within iGaming or similar industries.Proven expertise in digital acquisition, SEO, social media, PPC, and local marketing strategies in Africa.Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Fluency in English and French is essential.Willingness to travel as needed.What’s on Offer :
