Your role
The Commercial Analytics Team is the commercial branch of the Global Business Intelligence Group and is responsible for handling all Operation & Tactical Business Intelligence requests for stakeholders throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.
The ‘Power BI Developer’ role reports directly to the ‘Commercial Intelligence Manager’ and is responsible for the transformation of raw data into clear actionable business insights.
This includes all aspects of the data model and report development in Power BI, including implementing and maintaining datasets from operational, financial and sales data to inform business decisions, enhance customer experience, decrease costs, and increase revenue.

Utilize Power Query and DAX for data projects
Perform data profiling and data cleansing
Effectively capture, develop, and implement business requirements using communication and analytical skills
Advise business groups by providing technical and strategic reports that identify and address business issues and opportunities
Connecting and importing data sources, transforming large datasets
Implementation and management of row level security
Design, develop, implement, and maintain visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI to help business users quickly interpret large datasets
Work with business users to help identify and troubleshoot data, access, and reporting issues

Qualifications
2+ years’ experience developing Power BI reports and data models
2+ years’ experience writing T-SQL, Data Analysis expression (DAX) language, Power Query
Expertise in data analysis, data modeling and data mining
Excellent teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills
Proven ability to lead projects and work independently with limited supervision
Highly flexible, with the ability to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent certifications and work experience)
Financial Services and / or Foreign Exchange (FX) industry experience is a plus
