Job description

Job Summary :

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our Finance team.
  • The successful candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in accounting and will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Process invoices, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.

  • Reconcile vendor accounts and maintain accurate vendor records.
  • Prepare and process vendor payments.
  • Accounts Receivable :

  • Process customer invoices, track payments, and resolve any outstanding invoices.
  • Prepare and maintain customer account records.
  • Conduct credit checks and monitor customer accounts for potential risks.
  • Bank Reconcile bank statements with company records on a regular basis.

  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  • General Ledger Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.

  • Prepare journal entries for various transactions.
  • Financial Reporting :

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and reconciliations for financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends.
  • Financial Analysis :

  • Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed.
  • Tax Compliance :

  • Assist with the preparation of sales tax returns and other tax filings.
  • Internal Controls :

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience : 2-4 years of experience in an accounting role.

    Technical Skills : Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, NetSuite).

  • Strong Excel skills, including knowledge of formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
  • Soft Skills :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
