Position : SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

Experience : 4 to 6 Years

Job Type : Full-time / Contract

Domain : Manufacturing (with integration across SD, FI, CRM)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with 4 to 6 years of hands-on expertise, especially in Finance (FI), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) modules. The ideal candidate should have worked on at least 3 end-to-end SAP Implementations in ECC or S / 4HANA, primarily focused on Finance-related developments.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP solutions based on Functional and Technical Specifications.

Lead or support developments across RICEF objects :

  • Reports : Classical, Interactive, OOPs ALV, SALV
  • Interfaces : BAPIs, ALE / IDoc, Proxies
  • Conversions : LSMW, BDC
  • Enhancements : BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, Enhancement Spots, Implicit & Explicit Enhancements
  • Forms : Adobe Forms, SmartForms
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and support CDS Views and Fiori applications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams during all project phasesimplementation, upgrade, enhancement, and support.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables by performing code reviews and unit testing.
  • Follow best practices and standards in ABAP development and adhere to Agile methodology as part of the scrum team.
  • Provide technical documentation for developed objects.

Required Skills :

  • Strong programming skills in ABAP, including object-oriented ABAP.

    • Hands-on experience with :

  • Module Pool Programming
  • Enhancement Techniques : BADI, User Exit, Customer Exit, Enhancement Spot
  • Forms Development : Adobe Forms, SmartForms
  • ALE - IDoc and BAPI Interfaces
  • Good knowledge of CDS Views and Fiori / UI5 development.
  • Experience in Finance (FI) and Sales & Distribution (SD) process flows.
  • Working knowledge in SAP CRM integrations and customizations.
  • Understanding of SAP standard business processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in S / 4HANA projects.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • SAP certification in ABAP or related modules is a plus.
  • SAP Technical Consultant in ABAP who has worked on Finance, SD and CRM objects with implementation experience spread across Manufacturing, covering all business functions and integration points with other modules.
  • E2E Implementations in ECC / S4 HANA with focus on objects developments in Finance
  • Good understanding of SAP standard solutions for business processes.
  • Expertise in RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms)
  • ABAP Report Programming (Module Pool, Classical, Interactive, OOPS ALV and SALV), Enhancements (BADI, User exits, Customer exit, Enhancement Spot, Modifications, Implicit and Explicit), Forms (Adobe Forms, Smartform), Interfaces (BAPI, ALE-Idoc, Proxies).
  • Experience in CDS view and Fiori development
  • Experience in SD and FI process flow
  • Experience in SAP CRM.
  • Carry out ABAP development based on Functional and Technical Specifications.
  • Project Experience in Implementation, Upgrade, Support and Enhancement.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology and been part of scrum team.
