Role :   Electrical Engineer

Education :  Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, or a related field

Experience : 9+ years

Location :   Delhi NCR

Responsibilities :

Design and prepare electrical drawings and documentation, including :

Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)

Control Schematics and Wiring Diagrams

Cable Schedules and Termination Details

Bill of Materials (BOMs)

Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and protection coordination as per standards.

Specify electrical equipment such as motors, VFDs, and control panels.

Collaborate with the electrolyzer design team to develop, review, and optimize electrical systems and power supply configurations.

Develop and review electrical layouts in coordination with process and mechanical teams.

Prepare equipment datasheets, technical specifications, and support vendor selection.

Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards (IEC / IS / NEC).

Coordinate with panel fabricators and vendors during manufacturing, testing, and inspection.

Support installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems at site, including troubleshooting when required.

Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation of electrical circuits and control panels.

Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives, electrical load assessments, and system upgrades to improve plant performance.

Maintain proper documentation, drawing revisions, and as-built records.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.

9+ years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical design (preferably in process, manufacturing, or recycling industries).

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (or equivalent 2D drafting software).

Good understanding of industrial power systems, motor control centers (MCCs), and control panel design.

Working knowledge of cable sizing, load distribution, protection schemes, and grounding systems.

Familiarity with PLC-based systems, instrumentation interfaces, and electrical interlocks.

Good knowledge of industrial wiring practices, installation methods, and safety regulations.

Knowledge of hazardous area classifications and earthing systems in chemical or metallurgical environments.

Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to manage multiple design deliverables independently
