What's the role?

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will contribute to our mobile development with the primary focus on iOS applications in the first place and later for Flutter too. You will also implement the latest features for our internal and external open-source applications. You should be experienced with the mobile platforms like Flutter, Android and / or iOS. You will help to foster a clean architecture and focus on high quality products.

What is expected for this position?

• Bachelor / master’s degree in software engineering
• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering including at least 3 years in mobile development including strong proof frontend application development
• Strong experience in front-end application development for mobile platforms
• Proven expertise in building iOS applications using Swift, Swift UI and Xcode.
• Experience with the Flutter framework and Dart programming language (1-2 years preferred).
• Ability to design and develope custom UI components for our mobile applications (specifically focusing on building reusable and performant components)
• Experience building custom views and widgets in iOS and Flutter is essential
• You should have a strong understanding of UI / UX best practices and be able to translate them into efficient and scalable UI components
• Proficiency in creating well-documented and maintainable code for custom components is crucial
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI / CD pipelines for efficient code management and deployment
• Familiarity with mobile app performance optimization techniques (a plus)
• Solid understanding of software architecture & design principles for iOS
• High interest in creating quality software code
• Follow engineering best practices (testing, automation, pairing, refactoring, and keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies
• Experience in working in agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) and no problems to work with distributed teams
• A profound knowledge of modern C++, even more if you have experience in integrating it with Android and iOS applications would be an additional plus for this role
