Role Overview :

You will work within a platform team (10 14) people, responsible for new enhancement development and testing and supporting the business.

Work on a number of different applications migrating legacy systems to new technology, new learnings happen every day.

You will develop and maintain functional, scalable, and innovative applications that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provision and manage infrastructure resources in the cloud using tools like Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform.
• Establish and manage CI / CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Oversee the release process working closely with development and operations teams ensuring deployments and having contingency plans for rollbacks if needed.
• Implement and maintain tools.
• Establish systems to monitor performance issues or errors in applications proactively.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to the application, infrastructure, or deployment pipelines.
• Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure, deployment processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze and estimate resource requirements to ensure optimum performance and scalability of applications.

Mandatory Skill Sets :

1. Proficiency in Cloud Technologies : Hands on familiarity with Azure DevOps on Microsoft Azure platform

2. Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment : Well-versed with Azure Pipelines and other CI / CD tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

3. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Proficiency in Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates is essential to automate infrastructure deployments.

4. Containerization Technologies : Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

5. Familiarity with containerization concepts and tools is highly beneficial.

6. Version Control Systems : Experience with version control systems like Git or Azure Repos.

7. Scripting and Automation : Proficiency in PowerShell

7. Monitoring and Logging : Skilled in monitoring and logging Azure Monitor or ELK Stack tools

9. Security and Compliance : Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks like GDPR

10. Collaboration and Communication with cross-functional teams.

11. Agile Methodologies : Knowledge of methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

12. Experience in Azure Functions, Function App
