Job Description
Job Purpose : Support and execute compensation and benefits initiatives such as market surveys compensation benchmarking benefits plans performance management systems payroll and other employee payout inputs generation of MIS reports repository creation of all JDs / KPI / KRA and audit needs. Ensure seamless of compensation & benefits plans across all business units.
Job Context & Major Challenges : The company operates in a highly regulated and competitive environment with a significant workforce spread across multiple locations. It deals with various regulators and operates in a fragmented market with substantial competition from major national and local broking houses. The Human Resources department oversees a broad range of activities including talent acquisition training & development compensation & performance management and HR statutory compliance.
The position is responsible for managing compensation and benefits across multiple companies which are integral to the company's growth plan. The Chief Manager Compensation & Benefits supports the C&B function and provides support on all compensation remuneration and benefitrelated topics.
Key Result Areas :
Ensure accurate and timely payroll inputs :
Timely updating and generation of salary changes.
Execute the Annual Performance Management process :
Analyze performance ratings normal distribution curves and promotion recommendations.
Provide MIS & Analytics on compensation and benefits :
Analyze benefits utilization cashout trends and business performance (budgets vs. actuals).
Handle Compensation Helpdesk :
Close all employee queries within TAT especially during special initiatives and performance review cycles.
Ensure smooth management of the performance management system :
Document and update JDs / KPI / KRA for all roles and ensure alignment with goal settings.
