Job purpose :
The Product marketing profile will be responsible for growing product portfolio for Carl Zeiss India, Vision Care. The marketing strategies should support the business segment’s aggressive and transformative growth phase.
Main Accountabilities
Lead Go-to-Market Initiatives : Oversee and drive all internal and customer-facing Go-to-Market strategies for both existing lens product categories and new product launches, ensuring alignment with ZEISS Vision Care's strategic goals.Enhance Category Growth : Develop and implement targeted initiatives aimed at driving category growth through consumer engagement and customer-facing marketing tools, including a comprehensive communications kit.Provide Retail Support : Offer in-field assistance to retail teams, helping to refine and advance category growth strategies and develop effective tools that enhance product visibility and sales performance.Conduct Comprehensive Market Analysis : Perform thorough market research on competitive offerings and pricing strategies, enabling the formulation of strategic counteractions at the regional, cluster, or channel level as necessary.Manage Trade Programs and Analytics : Lead the development and execution of trade programs, customer engagement trips and channel activations utilizing analytics for reviewing sales trends, cost of goods sold (COGS) impact, and profitability within the lens category, ensuring that ZEISS's gross margin targets are consistently met.Foster Innovation : Encourage innovative marketing approaches and tactics within the channel, leveraging digital tools and technologies to enhance partner engagement.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with sales, product management, customer training and customer service teams to ensure cohesive messaging and support for channel partners
Job Specifications
Education : Bachelors or Higher. MBA preferred.Experience : Overall experience of 5+ yearsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint3+ years of sales and distribution experience in consumer branding and retailStrong ability to strategize and drive to execution at scaleStructural problem-solving abilities while dealing with uncertainty in the current world environment
