Role
The Investment Officer will play a central role in managing, monitoring, and growing the family's wealth through a diversified investment portfolio. The role requires strong financial acumen, risk management expertise, and the ability to analyze multi-asset investments while ensuring alignment with the family's long-term objectives.
The position demands discretion, professionalism, and stakeholder coordination with asset managers, financial advisors, auditors, and family members. The ideal candidate will combine technical investment expertise with integrity, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Mangaement
- Manage and oversee investments across equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and alternative assets.
- Continuously monitor portfolio performance and ensure asset allocation aligns with strategic goals.
- Adjust and rebalance investments as per market dynamics and risk-return expectations.
Investment Analysis
Conduct due diligence and risk assessments on new investment opportunities.Prepare financial analysis, forecasts, and valuation models.Provide investment recommendations with supporting analysis for decision-makers.Reporting and Documentation
Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reports.Draft investment summaries, presentations, and performance updates.Maintain structured records of all investment activities.Compliance and Audit
Ensure compliance with financial, taxation, and legal regulations.Align with family governance structures and investment policies.Support audits with accurate investment data.Liaise with statutory bodies, auditors, legal advisors, and trusteeship firms.Coordination and Stake Management
Collaborate with external asset managers, banks, and wealth management firms.Act as a bridge between family members and professional advisors.Coordinate with internal accounts, MIS, and finance teams (India & overseas).Key Interactions -
