About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to lead and coordinate end-to-end project management of strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and integrations.

The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, confidential environment. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, legal, finance, HR, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of each transaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of M&A projects , from due diligence to post-merger integration.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across finance, legal, HR, technology, and operations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and risk assessments .
  • Track progress against milestones and ensure timely delivery of critical tasks.
  • Support due diligence efforts , documentation, and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, steering committee updates, and executive reporting.
  • Identify integration risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive alignment between strategic goals and operational outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or related field ; MBA preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in project management, ideally within M&A, corporate strategy, or consulting .
  • Strong understanding of transaction processes, due diligence, and integration frameworks .
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects .
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent project management tools .
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
