The Opportunity
- L&D Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end training planning, supporting designing and development of the learning interventions for a manufacturing unit. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely execution of these programs, in collaboration with internal and external SMEs.
- Business Expertise :
- Stakeholder Management for identifying training needs and conducting need analysis to develop the annual training calendar.
- Design and Development of technical and soft skills training programs in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Timely Execution of training programs as per the training calendar.
- Training Management through LMS, including data analysis and visualization using Power BI, advanced dashboards and MS tools.
- Expertise in Digital & E-learning program design and implementation through LXPs.
- Coordination & Follow-ups with customer functions to drive learning initiatives.
- Cross-Cultural Awareness to effectively engage with overseas business partners.
- Problem Solving :
- Reputation Building to effectively engage with internal stakeholders, ensuring strong follow-up and maintaining healthy relationships.

- Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities :
- Training Need Identification & Analysis – Collecting and analyzing training needs, consolidating data for effective training planning.
- SME Collaboration – Identifying internal and external subject matter experts for training content development.
- Program Development – Designing effective training programs using smart presentations, interactive activities, and assessments.
- Advanced Learning Solutions – Conceptualizing and implementing LXP tools for training management and e-learning solutions.
- Global Coordination – Collaborating with overseas business partners to develop training systems and ensure smooth training operations.
- Training Handbook & Literature – Designing and developing comprehensive training materials.
- Apprenticeship & Long-Term Programs – Managing training initiatives in partnership with government and partner agencies.
- Knowledge, Skills and Experience :
- 06 to 12 years of extensive experience in a working in leading manufacturing L&D, with a proven track record of expertise and excellence.
- Learning Experience Systems – Designing and developing digital and virtual learning modules.
- Classroom Training Programs – Creating structured training programs and developing engaging content.
- Technical Proficiency – Hands-on experience with PowerPoint presentations and Excel for training content and data management.
- Basic knowledge of Manufacturing tools : Six Sigma, Kaizen, 7 Types of Waste, 5S, Manufacturing Systems, and various problem-solving tools.
- Desired :
- Professional experience in managing various government-initiated long-term training programs such as NAPS, NATS, and Learn & Earn schemes etc.
- Strong Communication & Influence – Excellent English language communication skills with the ability to influence effectively.
- Negotiation & Stakeholder Management – Skilled in negotiation and building a strong reputation for effective stakeholder engagement.
Role Specific Qualifications / Certifications
Preferred MBA – HR with Graduate in EngineeringEngineering with L&D diploma from ISTD / ASTD
