Role Overview

As an Oracle Cloud Admin at Calfus, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, developing and integrating business applications, and ensuring the security, performance, and compliance of our cloud environments. You will work closely with business analysts, development teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain solutions using Oracle Apex, OIC, VBCS, ORDS, PCS, GIT, Oracle SQL, Java, Python, Shell / Bash scripts, Webservices / APIs, and Oracle PL / SQL .
• Manage and monitor Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources including compute instances (VMs), storage (Object Storage, Block Volume), and networking (VCNs, subnets, routing, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs).
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices , including encryption, patching, vulnerability scanning, and IAM policies.
• Support and secure Oracle ERP and EPM Cloud environments and integrations with enterprise applications (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Bank Statements, Oracle R12, Bloomberg, etc.).
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues across cloud infrastructure and application layers.
• Automate operational tasks using scripts and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor cloud resource utilization, performance, latency, and availability; optimize cost and usage.
• Collaborate with system owners to ensure data security, access control, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) , including test case creation and coordination with business users.
• Provide first-line support to internal development, AMS, and product teams; coordinate with Oracle Application Admin services.
• Stay current with new technologies and adapt quickly to evolving business and technical requirements.
• Assist in implementing proof of concept (POC) code for new features to support business expansion.
