We are hiring a Technical Project Manager – Delivery (US Healthcare Interoperability - Remote) to work on projects for healthcare insurance clients in the US, so excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. This is not a generic / purely process PM role; it needs a strong technical understanding of US Healthcare Interoperability.

Job Title : Project Manager – Technical Delivery (US Healthcare Interoperability - Remote)

Location : Remote

Working Hours : 3 PM IST to 12 IST

Experience Required : Minimum 5 years

Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or Business.

Preferred certifications : PMP / PRINCE2, CSM / PSM, SAFe, ITIL (any combination is a plus).

Who are you?

  • Healthcare Interoperability Aware : Experience with US healthcare workflows : providers, payers, and / or care management. Familiar with FHIR (resources, profiles, APIs) and healthcare data exchange patterns.
  • Tech-Fluent Delivery Lead : Strong software engineering foundation (e.g., prior experience as developer / tech lead / solution architect). Comfortable reading and reviewing API specs, payloads (JSON / XML), sequence diagrams, and high-level architecture. Can work closely with engineers to break down work, clarify edge cases, and define “done” at a technical level.
  • Client Partner & Communicator : Comfortable speaking with US-based business and technical stakeholders, including senior leaders. Able to run grooming / discovery sessions, clarify requirements, and push back constructively when needed.
  • Agile Practitioner : Hands-on with Scrum / Kanban rituals—backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retros—while pragmatically blending Agile with contractual milestones.
  • Calm, Common-Sense Operator : Thinks on their feet, learns fast, and can stabilise a situation when things are unclear. Uses data and judgment, not just process, to drive decisions.
  • Tools Savvy : Proficient with Jira / Azure DevOps / Trello, Confluence, Google Workspace, Slack, and presentation / reporting tools.

What you will be doing?

  • Delivery Leader : Owns interoperability features end-to-end for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk across multiple concurrent projects. Ensure the team is building solutions that meet compliance, scalability, and operability expectations—drive issue resolution with clear ownership, timelines, and escalation paths.
  • Client Engagement & Governance : Work with client architects / SMEs to understand regulatory and technical requirements.
  • Quality & Delivery Readiness
  • Align engineering, QA, and DevOps on the Definition of Ready / Done; ensure test plans, UAT, and release gates are met.
  • Champion non-functional requirements (security, performance, observability) and post-release stabilisation.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Foster a healthy, accountable delivery culture across engineers, designers, analysts, and QA.
  • Mentor team members; model crisp written and verbal communication for distributed, remote teams.
  • Benefits

  • 5 day work week (unless for rare emergencies)
  • 100 % remote setup with flexible work culture and international exposure
  • Opportunity to work on mission-critical healthcare projects impacting providers and patients globally
